There are soon to be changes in the rental market with the Renters Rights Bill which will be introduced by the Labour Government by the summer of 2025. The second reading is due to take place on 9th October and from there the bill will continue through Parliament.

There are key elements of the bill that are being debated and Propertymark (our governing body) are actively campaigning for some elements to be reviewed further. Please be assured that we are continuing to monitor the discussions, currently the legislation remains unchanged, however we will keep you update as the new legislation becomes clearer.
